Automation & Throttling Control
The Series 37 is a small quarter turn rack and pinion pneumatic actuator designed for corrosive environment and is produced in stainless steel or polyester. Available in double-acting and spring return models. Bulletin #PB-37C.
The Series 34 pneumatic actuator is compact and features modified scotch yoke design and delivers from 120-1000 in.-lbs. of torque at 60-120 psig. Bulletin #PB-303.
The Series 36 AC or DC electric actuator is designed
for on/off general purpose automation of quarter turn
valves and is equipped with a thermal overload protector
as standard. Bulletins #PB36 and #PB36T.
Control Valve Packages What you need from an automation
package is complete reliability. An inferior control valve
package is an invitation to costly downtime and expensive
maintenance complications.
Throttling Electronic/Computer Control The ultimate
actuator valve package for electronic process control
includes the Series 75 electric actuator, with an HQ99
electronic set-point controller, and a characterized metal
seat for precise control.
The CPT characterized seat, Worcester's patented metal
seat technology, allows high pressure drops, high rangeability,
and controllable low and high flow control - Cvs from .07 to 380.
The seats come in standard slots, or can be custom
designed to suit your process needs. Bulletin #PB-V.
The AF17 solid state positioner throttles AC or DC electric
actuators for the highest possible accuracy of control. It is
designed for harsh environments and demanding industrial
applications offering high resolution and easy adjustments.
MAS (Modular Accessory System) To allow for interface of valves
and other related equipment, and enable them to speak a common
language, whether mechanical or electrical, digital or analog,
Worcester created the MAS allowing the user to bring all his
communication signals to, or take all his feedback signals
from, one source.
The contents of the MAS can be custom designed to meet your
process needs. You can choose from our positioner, controller,
adjustment cams, feedback potentiometer, limit switches, solenoids,
and a highly visible position indicator on top of the package.
Regardless of the number of accessories in the MAS, there is
always only one electrical and one pneumatic connection required.
This means substantial cost savings.
Electric Automation
The Series 75 electric AC or DC actuator designed for
on/off and modulating applications and backed by a
two-year warranty, provides precise, reliable and
automatic rotary valve operation in a rugged and
compact package. The Series 75 is available in a
variety of NEMA enclosures, and is easily adaptable
for PLC computer applications. Many options, such
as feedback systems and positioner/controller, are
available. Torques up to 3000 in.-lbs. Bulletin #PB-730.
Bulletin #AF 101.
The HQ99 solid state set point controller/positioner is designed
to position the actuator of the valve, damper or any other device
accurately to meet the process set point without overshooting.
The variable speed adjustment of the HQ99 prevents hunting
and is an excellent feature for applications such as temperature
control where speed of response adjustment is a must.
Bulletin #PB-HQ.
The result of years of research, laboratory testing and innovative
design, the Worcester MAS is ideal for pneumatically operated rotary
valves. It is a single source, integrated package that gives you the
direct link with your computer and electronic controls.
The most unique feature of the MAS is that it allows the inclusion
of all accessories into one standard housing which is designed for
NEMA 4, 4X, 7, 9 and 12.
